Restriction Management in Our Communities

Cayetano’s Community Management team handles the enforcement of community restrictions, but it’s important for everyone to understand the scope of what they do, and how you - the homeowner - can contribute to keep your community looking good. Visual appearance is the best way to ensure that your property retains and increases the value at which you purchased it.

Our Community Management team primarily focuses on recent communities and those actively being sold. However, if you live in an older Cayetano subdivision, they are always available to assist you with any restriction violations that may be taking place in your community. Just contact our Loan Servicing Office at (956) 464-4431 and share details regarding the situation you are facing.

Here is a list of the most common restriction violations:

1. Residence requirements (one home per property)

2. Prohibited storage

3. Grass maintenance

4. RVs

5. Skirting

6. Trash and illegal dumping

7. Utility violations (double utility connections)

8. Home age requirements

Restriction Violation’s 3-Letter Process:

Our current enforcement process consists of a 3-letter process, with a 30-day compliance period between each notice, giving homeowners the opportunity to address the issue before additional action is taken.

Cayetano’s goal isn’t simply to enforce restrictions. It’s to protect the investment each property owner has made.

Together, we can create and maintain communities that all neighbors are proud to call home and enjoy raising their families.
