Job Description

Our marketing department is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to join the Cayetano Development team to support and grow our presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Reporting directly to our VP of Marketing, you will lead community engagement initiatives, represent the company at local events, and build strong relationships with partners and residents. The position is based out of our Dallas Sales Center in Kaufman, Texas, with approximately 60% of your time invested in the Dallas metropolitan area and 40% in the Fort Worth metropolitan area.

Experience, Education, Skill Requirements

·       Some college coursework in marketing, advertising, communications, business or related field, or equivalent practical experience

·       Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) - spoken and written

·       1-3 years of previous experience in similar role (real estate experience, a plus)

·       Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

·       Familiarity with:

o   Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp)

o   Event planning and coordination

o   Representing a company or organization at community events

·       Demonstrated experience managing relationships with business partners and customers

·       Willingness to work evenings and weekends to attend community events

·       Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong interpersonal & follow-up abilities

·       Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

·       Self-motivated, with the ability to build positive working relationships with coworkers and business partners

·       High attention to detail and solid problem-solving skills

·       Proactive, able to work independently, and skilled in prioritizing tasks

·       Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow

Compensation Structure

·       Base Salary + Monthly Success Bonus

o   The success bonus is tied to goals achieved in several engagement/outreach categories including event participation, business/partner visits, social media activity, and lead generation.
